SureStart Ryde Children’s Centre has a midwife as part of the team who works alongside the Community Midwifery service providing additional ante natal & post natal care for young parents & their families during pregnancy, birth and the first few weeks after birth.

Home Visits

Additional ante natal care & post natal visits are available to families who face particular challenges during pregnancy and after the birth of the new babies.

Young Mums & Dads drop-in

Mums & dads or mums & dads to be under 25 years old are all welcome to drop into the group. We have a different session running on a weekly basis from labour & delivery, safety & first aid amongst others. Come along and meet other parents in an informal setting.

Baby Massage

Baby massage sessions provide knowledge and understanding of how massage can improve bonding and also help with physical and emotional health.

Sexual Health

Free sexual health advice and emergency contraception is available from the Know Now clinic at Ryde High school on Tuesday afternoons.
